Hear from remarkable speakers sharing personal and professional perspectives on how we move forward: 

  • Lord Richard Hermer KC – Cabinet Minister and Attorney General, providing insight into the role of law in shaping UK foreign policy.
  • Jonathan Freedland – Acclaimed journalist and broadcaster, who will host a live conversation with:
    • Elana Kaminka – Israeli peace advocate working to bridge divides following the loss of her son on October 7th. 
    • Aziz Abu Sarah – Palestinian author and peacebuilder fostering cross-cultural understanding worldwide.

Elana Kaminka - Israeli Peace Advocate – Elana Kaminka is an Israeli peace advocate committed to fostering dialogue and reconciliation. After losing her son, 2nd Lt. Yannai Kaminka, in the October 7th attacks, she redoubled her efforts to promote cross-community engagement. As part of Tag Me'ir, and the Parents Circle Families Forum, as well as local activism in the region where she lives, she works to counter extremism and develop empathy and compassion, advocating for a future of coexistence and security for all.

Aziz Abu Sarah - Palestinian Author and Peacebuilder – Aziz Abu Sarah is a Palestinian author and activist who uses education to bridge divides. As the co-founder of MEJDI Tours and Interact International, he pioneered dual-narrative tourism, providing a platform for diverse perspectives on the conflict. After losing his brother in the second intifada, Aziz turned to peacebuilding, working with communities worldwide to promote dialogue and nonviolent resistance.

Lord Richard Hermer KC – Lord Richard Hermer KC was appointed Attorney General in July 2024 and is a Cabinet Minister. He was called to the Bar in 1993 and took silk in 2009. He was previously Head of Chambers at Matrix and has served as a Deputy High Court Judge.
