Join us on 19 October – 23 October for a visit to Israel and the West Bank. The purpose of our trips to is give participants an opportunity to meet with key Yachad partners working in the region and explore options for how we move forward from the current situation to one that is solutions-focussed. Our trips provide participants with a unique chance to learn about the conflict in-depth, and to visit locations and meet individuals they would not normally be able to access. Participants hear from experts on a wide variety of issues, including Israeli politics, the occupation and displacement of Palestinians, the war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the fight to free the hostages, and much more relating to Israeli and Palestinian society. This is a chance to learn, see things first-hand and speak with the people who know the region best.
The final itinerary will be confirmed closer to the time, and may change to reflect the current situation. Content is likely to include:

In addition to the Yachad payment, you will need to budget for the following expenses. These vary based on your choices and circumstances:
NB Whilst we recognise the cost of the trip is significant, the real cost of the trip exceeds £900 per person, Yachad subsidies each place by at least £400 using charitable funds to make it more accessible. You’ll have the option to make an additional donation when paying — if you're able, your support will help us extend this opportunity to more people.
Accommodation Options (4 nights in Jerusalem)
Our hotel reservations are made via Booking.com in your name and payable by you locally to the hotel in Israeli Shekels (ILS). Your contract will be with the hotel directly and will be secured by your credit or debit card which is to be presented to the hotel on arrival.
Prices are approximate and subject to exchange rates at the time of travel.
Leonardo Boutique Hotel (our usual accommodation)
Urbanic Hotel (budget-friendly option)
We will allocate economy rooms first, then standard rooms, unless you email us at [email protected] to let us know a specific preference for either room type.
Please note: No breakfast is provided at the Urbanic. Daily group departures will be from the Leonardo Hotel (sometimes as early as 7am), so Urbanic guests will need to be there on time each morning.
Booking your flights:
The trip will begin early in the morning of Monday 20th October, so you will need to be in Jerusalem the evening before. The hotels are booked to include a night’s accommodation on Sunday 19th October. Please do not book a return flight that leaves earlier than 4pm on Thursday 23rd October – this is essential for programming purposes.
Please ensure you read the booking terms and conditions in full by clicking this link before booking a place on the trip and read them again before booking your flight as they include essential information about flight bookings, including a recommendation to book with an Israeli carrier. We recommend not to book your flights, unless they are fully refundable, until we let you know that we have enough bookings to ensure the trip will go ahead.
