Join Yachad for a briefing on the deteriorating situation in the West Bank. With daily reports of settler violence, the displacement of thousands of Palestinians, and unprecedented settlement expansion - including plans for the E1 settlement area - we will explore the realities on the ground, the ways in which the International Community is responding and what else they can do to help.
Hear from Lior Amihai, Executive Director of Peace Now, an organisation that monitors developments in the settlements daily through their Settlement Watch programme. Lior will provide first-hand insights into current developments and their impact on communities across the West Bank.
We will be joined by Melanie Ward, a Labour MP who has recently called on Charity Commission to look into 32 organisations that have given at least £28m to settlements that are illegal under International Law.
We will also be joined by Martin Konečný, Founder and Director of the European Middle East Project, who will discuss further actions the International Community can take to respond to the escalating situation.
