Yachad Day Trip to the Gaza border region on Thursday, 2nd August

The Gaza Strip is regularly in the headlines, and yet it is a place that is largely unknown. Join Yachad and Gisha – the Legal Centre for Freedom of Movement – and visit the Gaza border region. We will learn about the current situation in Gaza, and how Israel, Egypt and the Palestinian Authority interact with Hamas, and will also look at how the freedom of movement of people and goods affects the residents of Gaza. During the day we will have a briefing from the IDF and learn about the security situation on the Israeli side of the border.

The purpose of our bespoke trips is to provide those that participate with up-to-date information and access to people and places that you would not normally be able to visit, deepening British Jewry’s understanding of the conflict.

Adult ticket: £50

Student ticket: £25

The ticket includes organised transport from Tel Aviv to the Gaza border and catering.
